Pasta Alfredo with bacon and green peas

CAPPELLO BIANCO TUBETTI TIGATI
450 g
Bacon
8 slices
Garlic
3 cloves
Chicken broth
3 cup
Water
2 tbsp.
Frozen green peas
200 g
Butter
50 g
Heavy cream
400 ml
Parmesan cheese
100 g
Mascarpone cheese
100 g
Salt and pepper
to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut the bacon, fry it in a heated pan to a crispy crust. Take out, dry and set aside
  2. Add garlic to the same pan, fry for 1 minute over medium heat. Add pasta, broth, water, salt and pepper, and mix. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a minimum. Cook under the lid for 12-13 minutes until the pasta is soft. 
  3. Add peas and butter, and mix. Once the butter melts, add the rich cream, finely grated parmesan, mascarpone (or other cream cheese) and crispy bacon. 
  4. Stir vigorously. Cooking for another 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Add salt and pepper, if necessary. 
  5. Add grated cheese on top, if needed. Serve hot immediately. Buon appetito!
